PRESS IN & PRAY HARD!

October Is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

We just got done watching a movie that was on lifetime called “Living Proof.”  It is a movie about the guy who researched the drug Herceptin, which, you might recall Jane took for a while.  It was a good movie, but I’m sure they went easy on the drug companies.

The Scans

As we head into this week the boys are on fall break and I am taking a few days off to hang out with the family.  The boys will go back to school on Wednesday and I will take Jane down for her scans.  Her scans will be on Wednesday and Thursday.  She will be getting an MRI, CT scan and Bone scan.  She really does not like the MRI when they strap her down and she has to go in the tube.  That is why I am taking off Wednesday, to make sure she goes in (joking!).  Actually, she will be sedated and I will need to drive her.  The best part is that I get to spend they whole day with her.

The Results

We are not sure when the results will come out.  Most likely the 1st week of November.  I will update this blog as soon as I find out.

The Pray Room

Please pray for Jane on Wednesday and Thursday that she would be at ease.  Pray for the boys as they go back to school.  Continue to contend for a complete healing from the cancer and most of all that her scans would find her cancer free.  Please pray against the anxiousness that can start to crowd in as we await these results.

Thanks

Thank you for your support and prayers, you will never know how much you have sustained us over the last couple of years!

  1. Dearest Jane, Ray, Gabriel and Samuel,

Thanks so much for the update! Please know that we are praying fervently for you, for your healing, and for excellent results to the scans (hang in there, Jane!). We love you and thank the Lord for you! Wish we were still Hawaii to give you all a big hug. 🙂

    Love always,
    Rosana

  2. Hi Jane and Ray,
We are praying for you and yours this week that God would flood you with peace and run the anxious thoughts out of there. We are hoping for cancer free scans!
    Love,
    Ann and Gene Rohrbaugh
