Scan Results

In December, Jane and I went to San Francisco so she could undergo Gamma Knife treatment ( click here to read about her experience).  That was a little more then two and a half months ago.

Last week Jane had three scans a CT scan to check her body (organs) for cancer, a bone scan to check the cancer in her bones and an MRI to check the cancer in her brain.

The Results

CT: Clear, it showed no cancer in Jane’s body!

Bone: The cancer in Jane’s spine is stable, it has not changed.

MRI:  This is the one that we have been waiting on  because it will give us an indication of  the effectiveness of the Gamma Knife and Temodar.  Dr. M told us that they could still see the spots but most of them seem to be shrinking and that there were no new spots!!!!  This is great news.

Befuddled?

Jane was a little befuddled by the good news because she was sure that all the cancer would be GONE!  Dr. M was a little surprised by Jane’s response and told her that it really is good news.  Jane said, ” I was just hoping it would be gone.” 😦

Next scans – – – – – Three Months

Prayer that Befuddles

Now for the important part! Please continue to pray for Jane’s complete healing.  I believe that God can heal her and I continue to contend for her whole and complete healing.

I want to ask you to pray specifically for the cancer in Jane brain and back to leave her body and not to return, declaring God’s goodness and Jane’s health.

1 Corinthians 1:27 Says, “that God chose the foolish things of this world to confound (befuddle) the wise.”

Thanks Again For Your Prayers!

  1. Ray, we will pray. I word we got this weekend at church was that we are to be willing to believe in God’s provision. The scripture was from Mk 9.21-24 about the boy released from the demons and the father asked Jesus to help his unbelief.

So, we are praying and believing – we are willing to see the Lord work in His way and in completely healing Jane. It is quite interesting to hear that the Doctor was confused why Jane reacted as she did, but that was/is because of the faith that we all/she has in the Lord’s complete healing. While we do not know the Lord’s complete thoughts, we are convinced, assured, and utterly willing to believe in the Lord’s purpose and complete timing of the healing from all of this cancer.

Our prayers will specifically be for total healing and full glory of God’s grace upon Jane and all people through this healing and the testimony that Jane and you will have for the doctor(s) and nurses.

    Praise the Lord.

  2. Great, great news! I believe that God will completely heal Jane. And we will continue to pray for exactly that!

  4. Yay! So very very glad to hear the news! Enjoyed the story of Jane’s great faith with the doctors. We will pray for more and more of the same; for Jane’s healing through and through, and that many may know Him because of your fight. May this news push us all to pray even more.
    Love,
    Ann
