On The Beach

I am at the beach and updating from my phone, Jane is in the room getting some rest, so this should be short.

Jane is back on steroids as she began to lose mobility on her right side. She has improved slightly but still require my assistance to do some things.
we got the results of an MRI taken on Thursday. The bad new is there were two areas of swelling, one is in the same place as last time (believe this is the one causing the problem).

more bad news, the spot that is in the middle of the swelling has grown in the last three weeks.

there is some good news, there are no new spots  and the other 6 existing spots did not grow.

Jane is not sleeping well and has a very high level of anxiety.

please consider this one big prayer request!

  1. Jane, Ray, and boys,

We love you and pray for you all the time. Not just for healing, but for peace and fulfillment in your daily lives. I can imagine that everything is so overpowered by what is going on in your lives right now, and I wish for you all moments of peace and clarity and resilience through these trials.

Aside from all of that, I just want to say hi! DC is great and we have found a fantastic church here, but Jane and Ray, you planted a seed in our hearts, which has grown from our time with you. We miss you guys and hope that someday soon, we can come visit!

  2. Dear Jane and Ray,

I’ve been thinking of you so much lately and have been praying that you would have a wonderful anniversary weekend getaway. 🙂 Also praying fervently for Jane’s healing, knowing nothing is impossible with God! May He continue to sustain you all and be your strength and peace.

    Love you all very much,

  3. Hi Ray,
Happy Anniversary to you and Jane.
Keeping you and your family in our prayers every night.
Call me if you have time….
    Jim and Miles

PS – I know you are busy but just a quick message to let you know that we are always thinking of you and your family.

  4. Our family is upholding each of you, Ray, Jane, the boys, Linda and more, in our prayers. Please know that even though we cannot make the prayer meeting, we will be praying.

These uncertain times are so hard, but we will pray for God to be close enough to let you be aware of his peace.

    Much love and prayers,

    Ann (Kristensen) Woodruff
